While I was making my way around the ferry to find various things to photograph, I noticed a bunch of birds flying behind the boat. As I arrived at the back of the boat, I noticed the birds were hawks, and these hawks were following the boat because passengers on the sun deck were throwing food into the air for them to catch and eat.\n\nI quickly made my way up to the sun deck and stood in disbelief of what I was seeing. The hawks were slowly gliding overhead, waiting for a piece of food to be thrown into the sky. As a passenger would throw something into the air, one of the hawks would swoop down, catch the food in their talons, and pull away to enjoy their snack. \n\nI pulled out my camera, and did my best to hopefully get the frame lined up and in focus to capture one of these hawks in action.
